Like most artists, I am drawn to a place because of its light. Cape Cod Light, Mediterranean Light, Northern Light ... all have unique qualities that inspire artists and photographers. The stark bleached light of the Southwest, the forests aflame in a New England autumn, the golden light bathing sand and sea on the Atlantic coast ... the scenes of nature are brought to life with the light.
