I always liked to draw faces. Even as a teenager. I drew faces of the latest teen idols. I often used a portrait of one of my favorite performers as a ticket to an introduction. But it wasn't until long after I graduated from art school that I began to paint serious portraits. Most of my paintings now are of family and friends. My commissions are mainly referrals from former clients. I work in watercolor, oils and occasionally colored pencils and pastels. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than to be able to capture that individual spark of personality!
