PollyArts is located in a rambling old farmhouse in midcoast Maine. The winters there are an annual test of character, with fierce blizzards. Winds are cold and relentless, and the landscape is often coated with ice. But the summers are as close to Paradise as you’ll ever get. Polly and Wolfgang live there with their three miniature Dachshunds.
 Artist Graphic Designer Typographer
Polly has a Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art. She has always been devoted to her canine companions, and after years of owning Afghans, she now enjoys traveling with her Dachshunds throughout the Midcoast's many scenic spots. She has painted portraits for over 30 years, mostly watercolors, and most recently has taken up oils, discovering new techniques. She has painted most breeds, and she studies each dog to capture its distinctive personality.
 Webmaster Photography Design Videography
Wolfgang was born in Bremerhaven, Germany. He came to America as a young teen in 1958. His expertise in several visual fields includes photography, design and videography. He and Polly lived on Cape Cod for 10 years, enjoying its gorgeous scenery, particularly the National Seashore. They often hiked with their dogs beneath the dunes of Nauset and Wellfleet. They finally decided that Cape Cod was becoming too crowded, so they moved to Maine.
While living on Cape Cod, Wolfgang was an avid model ship builder. To see some ship models, click here
